Hello there! I’m Suhasini. I am many things. I am a writer, a student, an artist, a photographer and a future pedagogue. I’ve been writing for about nine years—it started with poetry.
Through my college experience, I have learned to explore other genres such as plays, short stories, screenplays, media reviews and essays.
I am also an admirer and creator of the arts, both through the still lens and blank canvas.
I recently took my degree from Texas Wesleyan University majoring in English with a concentration in Writing. I hope to further my studies by attaining my M.F.A in Creative Writing.
Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll leave you with this quote:
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The round heads in the square hole. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” – Jack Kerouac

Great quote from Kerouac! I saved it in my notes and will use it again.

I’m glad you enjoyed the quote. This is perhaps one of my favorite quotes of all time. Jack Kerouac is perhaps one of my favorite writers of all time. I strongly suggest you read Dharma Bums, if you haven’t already. =]
